All of my career opportunities have allowed me to work with children and families. Over the span of my career, I was afforded the opportunity to serve in many public servant capacities including Library Clerk, Teacher’s Assistant (TA), Counselor, School Social Worker, Community Service Work Coordinator, and Social Work Supervisor. My EXPERIENCE consists of working with students, families and the community in an educational, organizational and social settings. For more than 30 years, I devoted knowledge and experience of working with families in Guilford County Schools. In area of LEADERSHIP, I serve as the 2nd Vice President for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Greensboro Branch, Democratic Precinct Chair of JEF3, committee co-chair for the Greensboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated,
I am also an active member of the League of Women Voters, NC Retired School Personnel (NCRSP), NC A&T State University Gate City Alumni, Dudley Heights Community Association and New Light Missionary Baptist Church.
