COMMUNITY-DRIVEN
My COMMITMENT is crystal clear. As I serve in the community, I continue to be the voice for those who cannot advocate for themselves. It is my desire to sustain an active role in lending a wealth of knowledge of supportive resources to assist families in crisis situations.
As a concerned citizen in the community, I often attend the meetings of the Guilford County Board of Education to stay in tune with current issues, discussions and actions. Our board is more diverse than ever before. Therefore, we need to restore the respect shown to the community during school board meetings. Good work ethics are very important to me. Therefore, school board members must be held accountable for misconduct and disrespect to other fellow board members. Our board members should uphold behaviors such as professionalism, character, integrity and loyalty at all times. At no time should the Superintendent be demeaned by impolite challenges or bullied by board members.
